Planning
Mr. Lippitt works with individuals, married couples and domestic partners in addressing a comprehensive range of trust and estate planning issues, such as:

Providing personalized client consultation and preparation of all documents necessary to establish an
effective and flexible estate plan; -
Drafting and implementing simple and complex wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and advance health care directives;

Designing and implementing sophisticated planning structures, such as family partnerships and limited liability companies,
business succession plans, charitable trusts, insurance trusts, defective grantor trust, residence trusts and asset-protection plans; -
Offering particular expertise in such areas as lifetime wealth transfers, mitigation of estate, gift, income and property taxes, incapacity issues and planning for death.
Administration
Through Mr. Lippitt’s administration practice, we advise fiduciaries in all of the legal, procedural and tax issues concerning post-death estate and trust matters. Generally, these services include:

Assistance in inventorying and valuating assets;

Providing statutory notifications to trust beneficiaries and heirs;

Addressing creditor issues;

Allocating and distributing trust assets to irrevocable trusts and beneficiaries;

Appropriate retitling of assets;

Preparation of accountings; and

Preparation and filing of all necessary court documents, including any and all special petitions which may be required or advisable.
